Meet Our Staff, Board Directors and Medical Advisory Board
Meet Our Staff
After working with and for nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. for the past 30 years, I am very pleased to join Albie Aware as its Executive Director.
Originally from Marin County, and after receiving my B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, I have worked and lived on both coasts, with a bit of the south in between. I have served as staff, consultant, volunteer, and board member at a diverse array of nonprofits, from AIDS to the arts, the environment, literacy, social services, animal welfare, and beyond.
Throughout my career, I have always worked with organizations with which I felt a deep connection, and where I could both teach and learn. This truly is the case with Albie Aware, championing a cause that has personally affected me.
Breast Cancer has struck family, friends, colleagues, and I now feel privileged to be leading this remarkable organization, carrying out the mission of providing life-saving diagnostic testing, patient advocacy, prevention education, and compassionate support to local individuals facing or fighting breast cancer.
I greatly look forward to representing Albie Aware within the greater Sacramento community, where breast cancer has touched so very many lives. Please contact me to say hello and let me know how we may best serve you or someone you care about.
