Pink Patch Project

Sacramento Sheriffs and Elk Grove Police Department in front of the Capitol

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office (SSO) and the Elk Grove Police Department (EGPD) have partnered with Albie Aware through the Pink Patch Project, a national breast cancer public awareness campaign. When you purchase a Pink Patch, you help local women and men in their fight against breast cancer.

$10 Makes a Difference

Pink Patches and Pins are only $10, and it adds up quickly! The past years this effort has raised over $35,000 for Albie Aware.

100% of Funds Raised Benefit Your Neighbors

Every penny from SSO and EGPD Pink Patch Projects go to the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation and their mission to directly assist local breast cancer patients and survivors through support, education, and research.

A Personal Connection

For SSO Sgt Dan Mendoza the fight against breast cancer is personal. “I lost my mother to cancer when I was 18 years old,” he says. “I really like and appreciate the fact that Albie Aware is local and helps individuals with a breast cancer diagnosis.”
