Survivor Spotlight: 25 Minutes and Then This Happened

25 Minutes: Then This Happened
Stacy W., 35, was working out when she noticed a small lump on her breast. Not overly concerned, she scheduled a next day appointment and went.

At her appointment, it only took 25 minutes for Stacy’s life to change.   First the ultrasound. Then the mammogram. Then the still face of the technician. Then the knocking on the door from the doctor.

The next thing — “We think you have breast cancer.”   All within 25 minutes.

Stacy W. is a survivor. 14 rounds of chemo. 2 months of radiation.

Unlimited amounts of emotional support, including from Albie Aware.

These are the survivor stories that fuel us to keep doing what we’re doing.
